AaronTorres-Sports.com Joins Bloguin Network

Hello to all the guys, gals and others out there who’ve been nice enough to follow AaronTorres-Sports.com over the last year.

For those of you who don’t know, this site started off with humble beginnings last January, as basically, well a way for me to fill my ever expanding free time (Yes ladies, I’m single!) and yap about sports.

During most of its infancy (wait, it’s not even a year old, is it still considered infant?), AaronTorres-Sports.com was basically a forum for me to write a few thoughts on last night’s game, as well as a place for my friends to make fun of me, and allow my mom to keep tabs.

I would have never guessed at any point that it would grow into anything more than that, but through a little hard work, and a lot of luck, it has.

Recently I was contacted by the good folks at the Bloguin Network, who were interested in hosting my site. For those of you who don’t know, Bloguin is an upstart company that has over 100 sports and entertainment blogs under their ever growing media umbrella.

Obviously, when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at it, and am now the newest addition to what is already a fantastic group of writers.

(A special thanks is also due to one of their top bloggers- Darrell Owenby of SECRivals.com- for noticing my work and putting me in touch with the Bloguin people. Thanks Darrell for all your help)

Needless to say, over the last month or so a lot has changed for me, but what does that ultimately mean to you, my loyal readers? Not much. I will now have a cleaner, easier website to navigate, with what I think is a pretty sweet new setup.

However, anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t take myself particularly seriously, so as far as site content and feedback, nothing will change. AaronTorres-Sports.com is still just a place where anyone who wants to talk about sports is welcome, and anyone who wants to make fun of me simply has an easier avenue to do so.

So again, thank you to the people at Bloguin, thank you Darrell, and most of all, thank you to all the readers, because this wouldn’t have been possibly without your support.

Alright, enough of the cheesy stuff, let’s sit back, relax and talk sports.

Thanks again,
Aaron Torres
